Small Shark Attempts To Munch Jacksonville Boy's Ankle

Knee-deep water, a few miles down the beach from where i was swimming on Saturday. And the kinda cool thing about living here is that...no one really seems to care. Now, K. disagrees with them on this. But i think she'll be back in the water eventually.

Me? Ehh. Statistically, they say you're still more likely to die from being hit on the head by a falling coconut. Although i suppose the odds of either are probably a lot bigger if you happen to live in a place that actually has coconut trees, and/or sharks. Like, say, Florida.

Hmm.

But it's important to note that, as in anything, statistics never give you the whole picture. For instance, what they don't tell you here is what the odds are of being hit on the head by a shark falling out of a coconut tree. See? Now there's one that'll keep you up at night.
